GR10K AW26

GR10K Autumn/Winter 2026 presents a refined articulation of the material systems that define the project, establishing a clearer distinction between GR10K Mainline and GR10K Replicated while reinforcing the industrial and technical foundations shared between them.

Rather than operating as separate collections, the two programmes function as interconnected parts of the same system. GR10K Replicated forms the permanent foundation: recurring garments, industrial textiles and constructions derived from the earliest GR10K archives and maintained beyond the conventional seasonal cycle. Mainline operates as the more intensive field of development, extending these foundations through specialised materials, protective technologies, treatments and fields of application.

For AW26, GR10K Mainline concentrates this research through a reduced and increasingly precise edit.

Recovered anti-abrasion and second-chance GORE-TEX® fabrics are developed alongside Polartec® Alpha® nylon compounds and raw Dyneema® high-gauge knits. Material systems originating in protective clothing, insulation, industrial workwear and high-performance applications are retained for their inherent properties rather than reproduced as technical signifiers.

Hunting, forestry and protective equipment provide a further field of research throughout the collection. Raw split cowhide is applied across accessories, retaining the material qualities and construction associated with specialist work equipment. Reworked latex-dipped utility gloves extend this investigation into equipment developed for extreme working conditions, reconsidered through GR10K.

Footwear is developed with MOS, a family-run specialist footwear manufacturer founded in 1954 and based in Veneto, Italy. The GR10K × MOS Forestry Boot adapts a certified chainsaw protection boot originally developed for professional forestry work. Its protective architecture, steel safety toe, high-cut construction, Vibram® Montagna Block outsole and Ideal double-stitched construction are retained while GR10K introduces exclusive material and colour configurations.

The same approach continues through material finishing and treatment. Fire-retardant workwear twills are individually hand-waxed using industrial waxes sourced through foundries on the outskirts of Milan. Processes encountered within manufacturing and specialised working environments become part of the continued development of the garment, introducing variation through application rather than decoration.

This reliance on specialist knowledge extends throughout GR10K AW26. Independent manufacturers, craftspeople, textile mills and technical suppliers contribute existing material expertise and production infrastructure to the development of individual garments and objects.

GR10K Replicated AW26

Alongside Mainline, GR10K Replicated continues as the permanent core of the project.

Built from garment archetypes originating in the formative GR10K collections, Replicated maintains a continuous system of shirts, trousers, outerwear and utility garments outside conventional seasonal progression. For Autumn/Winter 2026, these foundations are refined through adjusted proportions, reduced constructions and increasingly precise silhouettes while retaining the industrial logic of the originals.

Klopman technical workwear textiles remain fundamental to the programme. Poly-cotton 2x2 twills, COMBAT™ ripstop and established industrial fabric qualities are selected according to durability, repeated use and their original fields of application. Developed for uniforms and professional clothing rather than conventional fashion production, their continued use connects contemporary GR10K garments directly to the manufacturing environment from which the project emerged.

GR10K Replicated is not conceived as a secondary or simplified collection. It operates as an ongoing system of permanent issue: everyday foundations capable of remaining in production, being reordered, worn continuously and developing through use.

Where Replicated preserves and refines the foundational systems of GR10K, Mainline subjects those foundations to increasingly specialised conditions: protective technologies, recovered industrial materials, extreme applications, material intervention and collaborative manufacturing.

Across both programmes, clothing is understood through application rather than image alone. GR10K garments circulate through workplaces, studios, cultural institutions, performance and individual field use, where wear, maintenance, adaptation and repeated handling become part of their continued development.

GR10K AW26 operates as an evolving material system: permanent foundations alongside increasingly specialised iterations.
