GR10K Paris Temporary Store | SS27
GR10K Temporary Store operated alongside the SS27 showroom during Paris Fashion Week, presenting a curated environment of garments, objects and cultural artefacts drawn from the wider GR10K universe.
Conceived as a temporary retail space, exhibition and meeting point, the project brought together GR10K collections, footwear, accessories, printed matter, artworks, ephemera and collaborative projects beyond the conventional boundaries of a fashion collection.
Exclusive collaborations with Osprey and Redback Boots were presented alongside archival material and objects that continue to inform GR10K's research into utility, industry and material culture.
The programme also featured works by Alessandro Di Pietro, presented in collaboration with Zazà Gallery, alongside a series of installations and events that unfolded throughout the week.
AGON Listening Session | GR10K Paris Temporary Store
The GR10K Temporary Store hosted an evening connected to AGON, a recent motion picture project directed by Giulio Bertelli.
The programme featured a live percussion performance by Seijiro Murayama, who performed on the original score, followed by a soundtrack listening session composed by Tom Wheatley.
AGON artefacts, production materials and collaborative merchandise developed with GR10K were presented throughout the space, extending the project into a physical environment of sound, objects and printed matter.
Presented in collaboration with MUBI and PAN Records, the event brought together contributors, collaborators and visitors for an evening of listening, discussion and cultural exchange.
SIN BIN – desert series | Alessandro Di Pietro at GR10K Paris Temporary Store
Alongside the GR10K Temporary Store, artist Alessandro Di Pietro presented SIN BIN - desert series, a site-specific installation developed from residual materials generated throughout his sculptural practice.
Conceived as a dessert to be observed before being consumed, the installation transformed dust, fragments and by-products of previous works into a temporary sculptural composition. Presented on stainless steel serving plates and accompanied by specially produced crushing tools, visitors were invited to physically interact with the work by crushing selected GR10K garments throughout the exhibition.
Reflecting GR10K's ongoing interest in reworking existing industrial archetypes, SIN BIN - desert series shifted attention from the finished object to its residue, treating artistic waste as both material and spectacle.
Produced by Alessandro Di Pietro Studio in collaboration with GR10K and Zazà Gallery, the installation remained on view throughout the duration of the Temporary Store.
