A modular functional accessory developed through GR10K's ongoing research into occupational clothing, protective components and equipment systems. The MARS FR Arm Gaiters reinterpret removable protective sleeves used across industrial, site and landscape work, extracting the component from its original context and introducing it as an adaptable element within an everyday clothing system.

Designed to be worn over both lightweight garments and heavier outer layers, the gaiters add a removable layer across the forearm without requiring a dedicated protective garment. Elasticated upper openings and ribbed jersey wrist cuffs secure each component to the arm while allowing the volume to accommodate different garments and layering configurations.

Constructed from Klopman MARS fire-retardant cotton twill, the 420 g/m² heavyweight fabric has undergone an intensive industrial laundering process that significantly alters the original finish, producing a softer hand and heavily worked surface while retaining the substantial character of the original industrial textile.
