The 88000 2L Water Resistant Padded Jacket reinterprets a conventional workwear jacket through a boxy, track-inspired silhouette, combining protective outerwear construction with the functional detailing of industrial service garments. Constructed from reclaimed 2-layer GORE-TEX fabric recovered through GR10K's ongoing second chance material programme, the jacket repurposes deadstock performance textiles within a water-resistant, insulated outerwear system.

The jacket features a high stand collar, two-way front zip closure and horizontal panel construction across the chest, incorporating concealed external pockets. A contrasting white quilted cotton lining provides insulation, while an internal zipped pocket offers additional storage. Adjustable cuffs and drawcord cinches at the hem allow the volume and fit to be adapted around the wearer. The resulting silhouette combines the familiarity of a track jacket with the material characteristics and construction principles of technical workwear, without the sealed construction of a fully waterproof garment.
