SS25_Nine Pounds of Dead Lanscape

Any production for an at-large audience is a production for no audience at all. GR10K has been radically attached to a seasonal offering avoiding mass mitigation and presenting explicit cultural proposals, bridging youth unspecified and raw need of revolt with a critique of contemporary outposts. The brand introduces SS25 as a wide reflection on Field-ware: capitalizing on remote and not en-vogue rural garments as a direct confrontation with contemporary institutions and patterns, using nature as a decorative concept and exploiting its study as a viable aesthetical commodity, generally layering consumer-goods into a peaceful layout of picturesque matter. Nine Pounds of Dead Landscape is a chaotic and unsafe conglomerate of ideas and design-concepts aimed at a rough reading of un-spoken constructs.

There are lesser things as dirty as a natural landscape, a vast field to scan. The collection was designed watching hours of backstage footage from field recording director James Benning’s movies, statically depicting factories, taxidermy and anti-horizons. SS25 addresses the consequences of progressive advanced technology production and its ghosting protocol over natural landscapes. A fashion offering that merges standard items, collected together with stand-alone pieces and collection sub-layers. The process result is a material translation of an unrestrained desire to cypher the deadly shades of near to death flowers.
